Dar Senosi × Negmedin

"Do not complain to people about a wound that is yours; only the one who bears the pain feels its true ache."

Negmedin is a Cairo calligrapher working where classical Arabic scripts meet salvaged form. Trained in the Thuluth and Diwani traditions, he treats antique furniture as a surface for verse — letting gilt and ink settle into velvet and carved wood.

"A room remembers everything ever hung upon its walls."

Nour El-Massry composes memory walls — layered tableaux of calligraphic panels, hand-painted faience, and salvaged portraiture. Drawing on the Egyptian domestic interior, he lets a single turquoise inscription anchor a chorus of smaller objects into one curated narrative.
